Fankidtober Day 25 – The iconic stepsibling duo!
(Jay is Ash/Goh’s son, but he’s born after the two break up and is raised mainly by Goh, with Gary as his stepfather later on. Emery is Paul’s daughter from a one-night-stand who he raised on his own before getting together with Ash. Jay is an aspiring pokémon researcher and is quite smart, but is lacking in the common sense department.)
Jay and Emery first meet when Jay is around 5-6 and Emery is around 4-5 and while their parents were a bit worried they wouldn’t get along since they both have pretty intense personalities… they hit it off instantly and have been thick as thieves ever since, even if they don’t see each other as often as they’d like, with Jay living in Kanto and Emery in Sinnoh. That just makes the times they do have to hang out all the more chaotic since they’ve got to cram in as much Sibling Bonding as they can while they have the chance. They’re definitely the type who lose common sense when they’re together and always seem to find trouble in the most unlikely places.
