Concept art for Janus, Emmet/Concordia’s son. I’m not sure how involved he is with the actual Battle Subway, since he has a tendency to… break… the trains when put in charge of things, but he loves his dad’s uniform so his mum made him a version in grey to wear around. He gets mistaken as a conductor a lot as a result, but he couldn’t care less as long as he looks good.
Janus travels with Tristan (Hugh/Nate) and Myka (Caitlin/Marlon) and is their guide of sorts to all of the weirder parts of Unova. He usually tries to sidetrack the group with detours to various haunted and generally Cursed locations – a walking Atlas Obscura! He just seems to have a knack for navigating strange places and dealing with strange people – no matter how dire a situation may seem, Janus always manages to find a way around it, be it sweettalking, bargaining, or just plain running away. A useful guide indeed!
