Notes:
- Tytus was born during the unconventional time in his parents’ relationship where Falkner was married in a clan-politics-motivated match to Janine, but as the marriage was mainly for the sake of alliance and having heirs, Falkner was still seeing Morty on the side
(somewhat in secret, though Janine of course knew and was fine with it). Due to the delicate situation, Tytus was raised by only Morty alongside his half-brother Yuusuke until he was around 4, when Falkner moved in and brought his two daughters from his marriage with Janine with him (not to mention the twins on the way). Going from a small, quiet three person family to a 6-soon-to-be-8 person family was a huge adjustment for poor Tytus and he often deeply feels “middle child” syndrome from being overlooked in all the chaos. - Maybe related to this, Tytus is by far the most “normal” and down to earth of his siblings. He’s easygoing and fairly sociable, thought not outgoing, and he has no interest in ghosts or the supernatural – in fact he’s very afraid of such things! This made him the target of plenty of pranks by the twins and is what drives him to train bird pokémon like Falkner and follow in his footsteps.
- However, Morty’s family has an odd quirk where ghosts and spirits seem to be attracted to them and Tytus is no exception to this, not matter how much he wishes otherwise. He tends to carry a large number of protective charms with him at all times and has grown practiced at ignoring any spirits who try to interact with him, pretending he doesn’t and can’t see them. How long/well this strategy will work… time will tell.
- When not ignoring the spirit world, Tytus dreams of becoming the Violet Gym Leader one day and plans on apprenticing under Lyra someday soon to achieve this. He’s also a mentor to fellow Flying-type Specialist Sage.
- His outfit is based on Kagamine Len’s “Crane” module, mainly since when I first designed him I realized he looks like Len and so looked at Len outfits for inspiration. So, that module is fairly close to what his full outfit looks like for the curious since this pic barely shows it.
