Notes:
- Saffron was born following a brief fling their parents had after Rose got out of jail a couple years post-SwSh plot. After finding out she was pregnant, however, Oleana chose to cut ties with Rose completely and raise her child on her own.
- As Oleana finds work at the Battle Tower, Saffron grew up close to Leon and his partners and sees them as uncles or secondary parents, especially since they often babysat them. In the same vein, Chelsea, Merrill, Nasrin, and Charlie are like family to Saffron as well.
- Saffron is aware of who their father is, but also has no interest in getting to know him based on how their mother, Leon, etc. all react to him. They are not, however, aware that Ambrose is their brother.
- Saffron is fairly new to modeling, but developed an interest in the industry due to their love of fashion and through family-friend Nessa, who they admire as a role-model and mentor. They also plan on competing in the Gym Challenge soon, since growing up with Battle Tower staff as family is very inspiring towards wanting to become a trainer!
- Their starter, Shieldon, was a gift from their Uncle Peony (who they are close with) that he brought back from a trip to Sinnoh.
- Their design is (very heavily) inspired by/based on the character Yellow Diamond from Houseki no Kuni, who’s author was the character designer for Rose and Oleana. YD is my fave from that series and the looks fit the parents so… why not? Was my reasoning.
