Notes:
- Marigold grew up helping Milo out on his farm, tending the Wooloo flocks and daydreaming in the wide open fields. She would have been happy continuing this life were it not for her cousin and foster brother, Gerald, dragging her along with him to all of Avery’s Gym Battles every league season and even out to Wyndon a few times to see the Champion Cup in person. Marigold resisted getting invested in battling for as long as she could, but over time the idea grew more and more appealing (though to save face with Gerald she continues to insist it’s not her thing.)
- As such, Marigold eventually joins in the Gym Challenge, becoming Gerald’s primary rival (much to his surprise) and a secondary rival to Ambrose, Chelsea and Merrill. While she always has a smile on her face and insists she’s just battling for fun… her intense actions and obvious frustration when losing tell a different story. Maybe… becoming a Gym Leader like both her dads are/were one day isn’t such a bad goal after all.
- Marigold adores cooking and is excellent at it. Her cooking style is hearty comfort food that almost everyone loves, and she often uses her cooking as incentive to get her brothers to do their chores or calm fights between her rivals. Her pokémon love her food too!
