Notes:
- Madeleine is the only one of her sisters to have an interest in battling from a young age, often eagerly watching her father’s Gym Battles and taking notes, dreaming of the day she was old enough to go on her journey.
- Similarly to Charlotte (or more like because of Charlotte), Madeleine develops an interest in her Draconid heritage (on Sawyer’s side of the family), so she ends up leaning towards dragon types on her team and wants to visit Hoenn on her journey to learn more about her extended family. Related to this, she also wants to learn more about Mega Evolution since it originated with the Draconid people.
- Due to her young age during the main plotline and in general compared to other Kalos fankids, I’m not quite sure how Madeleine fits into things just yet. She’s most likely an eventual rival to Margot since they both have an interest in dragon-types, though Margot is a few years older. There are some Galar kids in her rough age group she might end up traveling with or rivals with… we’ll just have to see! Also while they’re not finalized yet, there are some WiP Hoenn grandkids (aka, Jasper’s kids, Maia’s kid, etc) who would be not too much younger than her so she could interact with them on her journey as well.
