- Amelia is a plucky young journalist who writes for … whoever will take her stories, honestly. She’s still trying to get her foot in the door! It just takes perseverance! Her passion is covering unfolding mysteries and crime cases, so she has a habit of sticking her nose into places she maybe shouldn’t. She might have read a few too many detective novels in her youth and considers herself an aspiring Plucky Young Intrepid Heroine. One day she’s sure she’ll bust open some case and publish a huge exposé that will make her famous! Until then… maybe investing in self-defense courses isn’t such a bad idea…
- Due to her mother’s celebrity status, Amelia did some modeling when she was a child, though she quit when she was around 9 or 10 to focus on her passion for writing. All the same, she still has a keen interest in fashion and always endeavors to look her best – a key trait for getting interviews! (At least according to her stories…)
- She’s recently met a charming young woman named Cicely while investigating some reports of criminal activity in Castelia. Something about Cicely is pinging her radar… but whether that’s danger-sense or a blooming crush she’s not sure! What’s life without a little danger after all? Every good detective needs their attractive, mysterious informant!
- Like her namesake, Amelia is quite a skilled aviatrix, having been going on flights with Skyla from a young age and learning as soon as she was old enough. Unfortunately, a plane is the only transportation she can handle as she’s horrendous at driving a car, riding a bike, or… anything else really.
- (The flowers in her hat are meant to be chamomile and geraniums, referencing her mothers’ Japanese names.)
