  • Ione loves Halloween and all things spooky! It’s the day after her birthday after all, so Halloween is basically Ione’s Birthday 2.0 in her opinion. Plus, the 31st is the birthday of her favorite cousin, Jasper (and Maia too but Jasper’s her fave). He’s her mentor in all things ghosts and otherworldly and she aspires to be like him one day.
  • In fact, Ione’s starter, Sableye, used to be a joint pokémon shared by Jasper and Maia when they were on their journeys. Once they stopped traveling together, Jasper became Sableye’s sole trainer. Ione was born around this time, and when Jasper saw how much Sableye loved his baby cousin he decided to let the pokémon stay by her side. Since then, Ione has grown up with Sableye as her partner and the two are super close, achieving Mega Evolution together quite fast once she starts her journey in Kalos to become a Performer.
  • Since her journey started, Ione’s been following her dreams of showing the world how cute ghost-types are and making Jasper proud to be her cousin and mentor. On the side, she enjoys trying to contact ghost ghosts, using a wide range of approaches, from seances and Ouija boards to her families traditional musical methods of speaking to the dead with her guqin. (Which she learned from her mother Lisia, the current clan head and one of the best players in the family!)
