Day 8: Aveo (Verity/Sorrel’s son)!
(He takes mostly after his respective grandfathers in looks haha)
Aveo is the only child of Sorrel and Verity, though after his parents divorced when he was a toddler, he was mainly raised by his mother, and later his stepmother, Sheena.
Growing up with both stories of Hisui and his mysterious grandfather, who he was (sort of) named for, along with a fairly devout Arcean upbringing, led Aveo to uhhhhh develop some…. ideas…. about the role his grandfather plays in the Arcean faith when he was older. And maybe start a cult. He’s not a very “good” cult leader in that he’s honestly just too darn nice. Not enough fire and brimstone and fervor. The general gist of his and his followers’ beliefs is that Volo is/was Arceus’s prophet on earth and thus as his grandson, Aveo is the Next Best Thing and Knows a Lot about how to “interpret the will of the true Arceus via his grandfather’s actions”. (There’s a lot more but I’m not writing an essay on the theology of my fankid AU atm gadkfjsadjsg). He’s generally harmless even if a bit overbearing sometimes and has like 20 followers max and mostly either tries to spread his good word or do charity work.
