More Chibis 2

And here’s part 2 with the LiveCaster kids!

Maddie – The older sister. Her full name is Madrigal. She’s serious and focused, often being told she needs to lighten up. However, she’s also a contest idol surprisingly enough, because her best friend Mindy dragged her into it. Maddie’s not terribly passionate about coordinating, obviously, her real goal being to become Unova Champion one day.

Aster – The younger brother. He’s sarcastic, teasing, and generally a big pain in the butt. He loves video games, blogging, annoying his sister and all things horror. His goal is to one day create terrifying horror games or movies that don’t rely on sound for the scares, only visual cues, as he was born deaf. He’s only a young teen now though, so he’s more focused on scaring his sister with ghost stories he finds online.

More Chibis

[This post is out of date and no longer canon. These three kids are now IsshuS kids rather than FerrisWheelS. Their personalities and designs are mostly the same, though Tipha now has brown eyes.]

I made a post with a little chibi icon of Euphie a while back. In theory I was going to do them for all the main kids but then after I finished the FerrisWheel and LiveCaster kids I lost interest. I’m sure I’ll pick up the project again but for now I thought I’d just post them. I’ll include Euphie again since I feel weird sharing pics of his siblings without him haha.

Part one is the FerrisWheel kids!

Euphie Montfort – Oldest of the FerrisWheel kids and Tipha’s twin brother. His full name is Euphony. He does crime but pretends to the perfect child. He doesn’t want N to find out about his double life especially. Currently, only Tipha knows of his immediate family. There’s nothing wrong with his right eye he just likes this hairstyle since he’s melodramatic.

Tipha – The middle FerrisWheel child and twin sister of Euphie. Her full name is Antiphony. She’s a sporty gal and is the star rookie for the Nimbasa Thunder baseball team. She’s very direct and confrontational and sometimes gets in trouble for picking fights, but she tends to also bounce back quickly from any setbacks. She knows about her brother’s Crime but is keeping it a secret.

Oliver – The youngest FerrisWheel sibling. He’s five years younger than the twins. A gentle and sweet boy who hates conflict and has a passion for history. He wants to be an author someday and keeps a journal with him to write down ideas. He also works in historical reenactment at a old family manor that’s been partially converted to a museum.

Volkner and Elesa are siblings?! Cool! I want to know more about their relationship, if that’s okay with you…

Sure thing!

Volkner and Elesa were both born in Sinnoh and Volkner is the elder brother by three years. Their father is a electrical engineer from Sunyshore and their mother is a retired actress. They were fairly close growing up, though didn’t have much in common. Volkner takes after their father and was interested in studying electronics, while Elesa was always captivated by their mother’s glamour while watching her films. One thing they had in common was a love for pokémon battles. Neither of their parents are particularly competitive trainers, so neither is sure where their children got it from, but both encouraged the two to become trainers if that was their dream.

Eventually, as they grow up, the siblings go their separate ways – Volkner remaining in Sunyshore to study engineering and eventually becoming the Gym Leader, while Elesa moved to Unova to pursue her modelling career (and eventually becoming a Gym Leader herself.) They remain in touch, however, and still have a good relationship. They try to organize regular visits between their families, though this is difficult since they all have busy schedules. As for their children… Ronan doesn’t get along very well with Elesa and Skyla’s twins, but then again Ronan tends to be very aloof in general. He and Jerrie are rivals of a sort, usually challenging each other to a battle when they meet at family reunions or vacations.

Aaaaand Wattson is Brendan’s grandfather… interesting as well!

Wattson is Professor Toby Birch’s father and Brendan’s grandfather! He tried to get his son interested in engineering like himself, but Toby always preferred getting out and studying nature instead – not that Wattson minds! He’s happy when his family’s happy after all. He and Brendan get along really well. Wattson always liked to show Brendan all his latest projects as he worked on them, which fascinated the boy, even if he didn’t really get any of it (and still doesn’t as an adult. He takes more after his father in interests.)

Wait… Blaine is Red’s grandfather?! That’s interesting…

Blaine is Red and Leaf’s grandfather, you’re right! He has one child, a daughter named Scarlett, who left her home on Cinnabar Island to go on her pokémon journey to challenge the Kanto Gyms in the year 3584. During her journey she runs into Professor Samuel Oak’s son, Charlie, and his best friend, Aiden, who are travelling together. While Charlie was undertaking a junior research program during his journey, Aiden was a competitive trainer like Scarlett, so the two naturally became rivals. Aiden and Scarlett both had ambitions to become the Champion one day and while they competed, they also end up becoming friends, especially after Aiden unexpectedly helps save Scarlett’s life (which is also when her crush on him fully blooms – though it takes a while for Aiden to notice both that and his own feelings for her.)

The two end up dating and later get married. Scarlett moves to Pallet to be with her husband and the two have two children together – Red and Leaf. While both still had aspirations to become Champion, they both found that that goal was harder then they had thought when they were young. Scarlett ends up with health problems following Red’s difficult birth, which result in her needing to stay closer to home. She gets a job as a teacher for aspiring trainers at the local school. Aiden, meanwhile, gets a job as a trainer at the Viridian Gym, however when Red is 8 and Leaf is 6, he goes missing following his discovery of Team Rocket activity there. During these struggles, Blaine does his best to support his daughter and her family, though he can’t often leave Cinnabar due to his job as Gym Leader. He also, of course, ends up facing his grandchildren years later when they both go on their own journeys and is very proud of what strong trainers they’ve become. While Blaine was somewhat distant for them growing up, he is able to establish a better relationship with his grandchildren once they’re teens.

who are the current frontier brains in your au?

Hoenn:
(Same as before)
 – Greta Hwang

Lucy Seol

Tucker Heath
(New)
 – May Asagi: Runs the ‘Battle Stage’, which is similar in setup to the battle portions of pokémon contests. Her title is ‘Stage Princess May.’
 – Gina Seaver-Huo: Facility currently unknown.

Sinnoh/Johto:
(Same as before)
 –
Palmer Barnes

Thorton Matsubara
 – Dahlia Rebreanu
(New)

Harper Montfort: Was a Frontier Brain previously, but took 5 years off to be home in Unova for his children’s pokémon journeys, being temporarily replaced by Dahlia. When he returns, Argenta decides to retire and Dahlia takes her place, becoming a full-fledged Frontier Brain. Harper runs the ‘Battle Casino’, where trainers make bets on the outcome of their matches based on self imposed conditions. Winning the bet results in a bonus in the next round, while losing it, even if the trainer wins the battle, results in a penalty. His title is ‘Casino King Harper.’
 – Fortune Heath: Facility currently unknown.

OrangeRibbon Kids

I drew some concept sketches of my OrangeRibbonShipping daughters, so I thought I’d share them here as well!

Charlotte is the oldest of the three sisters. She’s a performer and likes to think of her self as an elegant noblewoman or princess. She’s very refined and pays attention to her manners and etiquette.

Suzette is the middle daughter and is a connoisseur. She especially likes baking (having learned from her mother) and her specialty is crepes (like her namesake!) She’s a bit on the haughty side but is actually quite sensitive underneath that.

Madeleine is the youngest sister and is a competitive trainer. When she was young, she followed Sawyer around everywhere asking about all sorts of things, so he gave her a notebook (similar to his own) to write everything she learned in. She now writes strategies and ideas for her battles as she challenges the Kalos Gyms with her starter, Froakie.

All three are named after French desserts, in homage to Miette’s theme!

Ship Change:
Guzma/Molayne → Guzma/Molayne/Kahili

Kahili and Molayne are married and then Guzma’s just also there. I call it NineIronShipping.

Vriesea is now Guzma and Molayne’s bio daughter. They also have two more kids – Vinca, who is Guzma and Kahili’s daughter, and Vitis, who is Kahili and Molayne’s son. Vinca and Vitis aren’t twins, but they were born within two weeks of each other so they consider themselves twins.

I don’t even know what to say anymore.
