Do you have a list of all the orientations of the main adults and their partners?

In all honesty anon, it’s not really something I think about that much. I’ll put an orientation down on profiles but really that’s just whatever came to mind. I fully encourage people to headcanon whatever they want regarding sexual orientations of adults (and even fankids tbh.) I mean you can assume things based on who they end up with but really, I don’t think about orientations before deciding ships, I just go with what I think has interesting chemistry. Most people in the L&L universe are bi though.

We’ve all got different ship preferences, anon! I’ve always thought that the two of them could have an interesting dynamic, even if they don’t interact much (or get along very well) in the anime. They’re still kids there after all. I’m fond of ships where people who sort of knew each other years ago reconnect and fall in love, and I like ships where the couple are very different people who compliment each other, and to me Ikari fits that mold. I’ve also seen wonderful fan content for the ship over the years that has endeared me to it! I wouldn’t say I consider it an OTP, and if I did seriously make an animeverse AU, there’s just as good a chance I would go with Ash/Paul/Dawn as Ash/Gary, but that post was just a hypothetical and only one way things could work out. Overall it’s simply a ship I think has good potential.

That being said, I know multiple people who don’t like the ship at all and completely understand that angle as well. We all have ships we like or don’t like after all. If any of my ships or content on here make anyone uncomfortable, feel free to unfollow or block me or blacklist the ship/character! Your own comfort and safety comes first and I wouldn’t be offended or anything at all!

Does Madie like madeleines?

I think she’d be neutral on them! Maddie’s not the hugest fan of sweets, but if they were served with something like coffee she’d probably enjoy them. If someone suggested she might like them since they match her name however… she’d get annoyed, since she hates people assuming her full name is Madeleine. So if it happened enough, she’d start hating the dessert on principle.

As a bonus, in Madeleine’s case … I’d say she likes them! She’d think liking a dessert which shares her name is childish, but at the same time wouldn’t be able to help enjoying the idea. So it would be a guilty pleasure sweet for her, even if her reasons for seeing madeleines as a guilty pleasure are a bit convoluted. Of course, she and her sisters are all named after desserts in the first place so…

100% Animeverse AU

@whats-ahead did a really interesting post a while back about what their fankids would be like if their AU was Gameverse rather than Animeverse and then that got me thinking about doing the same for L&L. Since this AU is mainly Gameverse, however, I did the opposite – What if L&L followed the anime rather than the games and only included characters that appear in the anime? I only really thought about it for the kids of major anime characters though since I feel like kids of two gym leaders or whatever wouldn’t change as much.

  • Roy and Sage would be Ash and Gary’s kids. I don’t think their personalities would change much, though I can see Sage being more outgoing and not put on a serious front as much, since he’d be taking cues from Ash rather than Red. 
  • Brock, Misty, and Tracey’s families would be exactly the same.
  • As would Jessie and James’s, but they’d live in Kanto or Johto instead of Unova and wouldn’t still be partially involved in crime. So the kids would be probably be more law-abiding overall as well (which is a tragedy for Jules’s career as a sexy big city jewel thief… or is it?)
  • Renato and Celeste would be Lyra and Khoury’s kids and that’s weird to think about since it would mean they wouldn’t have red hair…
  • May, Drew and Harley are probably all dating each other since I can’t break up Drew and Harley but also Lisia doesn’t exist in the anime so. I can see May and Drew being married and then Harley just is there sometimes. He’s still living on his own and Brooke still attaches herself to him. And then they just have five kids. RIP.
  • Neither Wally nor Brendan show up significantly in the anime, so idk if Anabel has four kids or what. I didn’t think about this one as much. I want Rhys to exist though since Levi deserves it.
  • Emery, Tanith, and Morgan are all siblings and Dawn and Paul’s children. Emery’s backstory is the same though, so she’s Paul’s kid from a fling he got saddled with and then he and Dawn get to know each other/fall for each other when she ends up babysitting Emery for him. Tanith might be Dawn’s kid from a previous relationship or she might be Dawn and Paul’s and they just get together sooner than he and Ash do in “canon” idk.
  • Gavin is Barry and Ursula’s son which means Taffeta is his sister (she’s still adopted) so RIP to him. Balthazar is their bio child since his backstory doesn’t fit anymore.
  • N still has Euphie and Tipha, but he’s a single father. 
  • Oliver is Penelope’s brother (so he’s Trip and Vergil’s son.)
  • Sieg (who I kind of want to rename tbh), Bryn, and Cori are all siblings and Cilan and Burgundy’s kids.
  • Does Iris have six kids as a single mother? Probably not. I can see her with Cypress, Jasmine, and Clementine though.
  • Laurel and Poppy are Georgia’s adopted kids/wards/students who she took in “by accident” so she could “train them to take down Iris’s kids” and pretends to not care about but she secretly does deep down.
  • I can’t think of any good reason for Chili/Korrina and Cress/Jasmine to *not* work in animeverse since they could just travel to other regions, so they’re still together. Ginger probably doesn’t exist so Chili and Korrina have Acacia instead (along with Anise of course).
  • Blake, Gwennie, Kirsten, and Hallie are now all Bianca and Stephan’s kids because they deserve a big happy family.
  • Aurélie, Edmund, Odette, and Zémire are now Serena and Shauna’s kids.
  • Xavier, Yvon, Eli, and Marianne are now Trevor and Tierno’s kids.
  • Basile has the same parentage and is now Clemont and Lilia’s adopted son. They also have Verbena.
  • And then who even knows with Alola I didn’t keep up with the anime there.

Which adult will be the next one to get a profile?

My current plan is to finish Renato’s profile, then make Tipha’s. After that I’ll focus on doing more adult profiles. My goal is to do art for them this time as well! The first one will most likely be Wally, since I was working on his before anyways and there was a kind Anon who wanted it. After Wally I’ll probably do the profiles for the parents of the main four – so Ash, Paul, Barry, Lucas, N, art for Lyra and Silver, and then art and a finished profile for Hilda.
