Fankidtober Day 11: Gabriele Campanella
Gabe is Giovanni & Archer’s son, though he’s raised by Gio and his ex-ex fling Delia in Unova. Wanting to be a chip off the block, he’s a cat loving Gym Leader, bringing the heat of fire types to Castelia City.
Fankidtober Day 10: Noelle Shizuyama
aka the fankid whose design and backstory change every time i draw her
Noelle is the adoptive daughter of Lance, however when she was little she was presumed deceased after an accident that may have involved a UB. Years and years later, her little brother Draco meets a strikingly familiar Interpol agent… It’s unclear if the confident UB squad agent is the same Noelle who went missing that day… or just another world’s counterpart, considering her amnesia, but either way she’s going to be a huge influence on Draco changing his outlook and starting on the path to examining his own behavior, a good mentor even if she’s not the same sister. And when she’s not being dragged into family drama, she’s busy flirting with her coworker Layla, much to the latter’s dismay (she’s not flustered-SHUT IT)
Fankidtober Day 9: Aeon Kardashev
Another fullbody today for another character important in my vague plot! Aeon is Cyrus and Saturn’s son, born in the Distortion World after the events of Platinum and living there with his father for the first 5 or so years of his life, before the two of them are dragged back home by Dawn. He then eventually moves with Cyrus to Snowpoint to live with Saturn & Archer.
Aeon is a calculating, expressionless young man who loves puzzles and is deeply fascinated by uncovering the mechanisms behind some of the world’s most obscure arcane mysteries. To this end, he took inspiration from his father and ancestor’s ambitions, forming the Galaxias Research Firm, an R&D company that works extensively with psychics, explorers, archaeologists, etc to take a scientific angle to Sinnoh’s myths and the history of the universe.
In the plot, he and his subordinates act as “decoy villains”, who it later turns out hold similar goals to the protagonists, just going about them from a different angle. Aeon tries his best to be a good boss, though his stoic nature and difficulty expressing himself means a lot of his subordinates are afraid of him… you’ll find ‘How to be an Approachable Boss in 5 Easy Steps!’ type books on his office desk haha.
Fankidtober Day 8: Florian Sycamore Camulos
He’s Florian’s past life and was the younger brother of AZ. A sweet child who suffered a lot during the war (a lot of it the result of AZ’s actions firing the weapon that he didn’t stick around to see the fallout of…), who grew into an efficient but cold king who for many centuries was viewed extremely unfavorably by history. Modern sources re-examining old accounts for biases have started salvaging his reputation somewhat though.
Fankidtober Day 7: Damon Vorona
I actually drew this a little while ago, but forgot to post it, so rolling Damon for today was the reminder to do that and introduce him!
Damon is Adaman’s reincarnation/modern counterpart and is biologically Tobias & Cynthia’s son, born after a one night stand. He grew up in foster care before being adopted by Marley & Buck when he was around 7-8 years old. The entire reason he exists is because I felt sad about Janus coming home from Hisui and having to say goodbye forever to everyone there so love wins I guess!
Fankidtober Day 6: Evan Lǚ
Lisia & May’s middle child! I’ve rolled his brother and sister for past fankidtobers so his time has finally come! He gets a fullbody concept since he’s actually a fairly major fankid in the ‘story’, being one of Emery’s main rivals (and her requisite ‘mean’ one). Grumpy middle child trying to win at all costs with a tsundere side.
Fankidtober Day 5: Selinde Mei
Solana & Lunick’s daughter! Not much else to say, she’s a Ranger like her parents and is a known lone-wolf (lone-Lycanrock?) ever since her rival and best friend abandoned her post and betrayed her heart.
Fankidtober Day 4: Lokelani “Lani” Na’auao
Ilima/Mina’s daughter and Kiawe’s stepdaughter! She’s the Psychic-type Trial Captain who seems like a laid-back dancer on the surface, but gets a bit intense during pokémon battles.
Fankidtober Day 3: Lucille “Lulu” Bonheure
Lulu is Dana & Nini’s daughter, which means she was basically born for showbiz. She gained her fame online by live-streaming herself singing and dancing, gaining a following as a idol via the internet under the handle “Princess of Hearts”. She’s definitely a love-or-hate type of personality, but her fans go hardcore. She’s recently announced she’s going to be competing in this year’s Showcase circuit, so that’s been the latest drama between her fans and the haters who think she’s only becoming a performer for clout and will sour the competition. (She secretly loves the drama).
Fankidtober Day 2: Tytus Hasumi
Planning on drawing quick lil’ chibis when I roll a kid I’ve already designed this month so… here’s Morty/Falkner’s son with his Noctowl!
