What’s the story behind Jupiter/Cyrus (are there feeling involved?) and what ends up happening to their kid?

Jupiter (real name Giulia Firsov) held feelings for her boss for quite some time, though she was fairly certain that Cyrus didn’t, and would never reciprocate. All the same, towards the end of the DPPt plotline, when it looked like Team Galactic’s plans would be a success, Jupiter decided that it was now or never and she might as well see if Cyrus was interested. Surprisingly, he accepted and agreed to engage in a one-night-stand, no strings attached. In Cyrus’ perspective, because he was about to remake the world into his perceived ideal image, that would require sacrifices from his commanders, so he would indulge in their ‘last wishes’ even if he did not understand the appeal. As such, the feelings were one sided on Jupiter’s part, but she was never under the illusion that they would be anything but one-sided. What she didn’t account for was not only to have her boss disappear into the distortion world, not only for Team Galactic to fall apart and for her to be arrested, but on top of it all, find out that she was pregnant with Cyrus’ child after being arrested.

Callisto Firsov was born in the Sinnoh Regional Penitentiary and his mother wanted very little to do with him. To Giulia (no longer Jupiter now that Galactic was done for), Callisto was just a reminder of her failures and mistakes that led to her incarceration. When he was around 18 months old, Callisto was placed into the foster system, where he would spend the remainder of his childhood being bounced from foster home to foster home, never staying at the same place for more than a few months. While some of Callisto’s foster families were genuinely invested in giving him a good home, plenty were far from ideal, and he learned from a young age that trusting others, especially adults, was dangerous and that he was better off taking care of himself. This also led to Callisto become involved with illegal and dangerous activities, including joining a gang when he was in his mid teens. Callisto skipped school frequently and had little interest in considering future careers aside from keeping himself afloat. He befriended a few pokémon, most significantly his starter and partner, Maestro the Skuntank, but many of the pokémon battles he engaged in were the kind that weren’t just for fun or sport, but posed a serious danger to both the trainer and pokémon. Callisto never saw himself having any other life than his half-on half-off the streets lifestyle living day to day, but following a run in with the law and a betrayal by a former ally that left him almost dead, he decided to turn his life around.

Callisto may not have regularly attended school growing up, but he was still quite a smart kid, so by buckling down and studying, as well as getting help from a local organization that supports people like him looking to help themselves, he was able to get in with a scholarship to the local Hearthome Community College, where he began to study social work, in the hopes of helping those with difficult backgrounds, who were let down by the system, like himself. One of his preferred study spots as a student (when he wasn’t sneaking in flashcards to one of his part-time jobs) was in the library at Hearthome Institute of Technology, one of Sinnoh’s top universities. He found that the environment there tended to be quieter and better for his own studying needs, even if he wasn’t a student. It was while studying there one afternoon that he first met Ceres, who was a student at HIT majoring in mathematics. The two struck up a conversation and hit it off, exchanging numbers and starting a ‘study buddy’ relationship that didn’t take too long to turn romantic. When Ceres found out that Callisto had no idea who his birth parents were, she encouraged him to track them down, so he could at least know and the two were pretty surprised to find out that his mother had been a top member of Team Galactic, especially since of Ceres’ fathers also used to be a member (Sasha Severny aka Saturn), though she encouraged her boyfriend to keep that a secret.

Callisto decided to send a letter to his mother, who was out of prison at this point and living in Solaceon, just to reach out and let her know what was going on his life, but also since he was curious about his father, as he wasn’t mentioned in any of the records he and Ceres managed to access. Giulia still wasn’t very interested in meeting her son, but she did tell him that his father was former Galactic leader Cyrus. This lead to a whole other round of searching as Callisto and Ceres tried to figure out what had happened to the man, eventually tracking him down (through dubiously legal methods) to Twinleaf, where he was living with his sister and brother-in-law. Callisto reached out to Johanna about who he was and if she and her brother were at all interested in keeping in touch, whereupon Johanna paid for tickets to get her newfound nephew (and his girlfriend) out to meet her. Cyrus was surprised but fairly accepting that he had a son, and though Callisto never grows extremely close with his father, he does form a strong relationship with his aunt, uncle, and cousin.

Callisto completes his degree and gets a job working for an organization that helps support children in foster care (keeping siblings together, trying not to move them around as much, finding good foster parents, etc). Ceres graduates with excellent grades and starts out as an information scientist for a local research group, though later decides she’d rather pursue her childhood dream of becoming a professional pokémon trainer, which she excels, eventually becoming the Hearthome Gym Leader with a specialty in poison-types, though she still keeps up with her passion for numbers as a part-time job (and by incorporating math puzzles into her Gym design). Callisto and Ceres are eventually married and have a daughter together in 3637 named Proserpina (or Pina for short) and are both very happy!

What are all the Evil Team leaders doing in your next gen au?

Giovanni: Eloped with his childhood friend Angelo (aka Lyra’s dad) to Unova after being defeated by Red. The two own a restaurant together there and also use the space as a neutral meeting ground for the Castelia Mob. Jessie and James (and their son Jules and daughters Jill and Josie) work there, later joined by Renato when he runs away from home. Giovanni is on good terms with both his kids (on better terms with Silver though) and spoils his grandkids rotten.

Maxie & Archie: While helping to clean up after Archie’s mess of summoning Kyogre, Maxie ends up the guardian of a girl, named Kiran who was orphaned when her parents drowned in the raging storms. While he might not seem like a fatherly figure, he ends up stepping up to the occasion quite well. Eventually, after receiving funding from Aether Foundation, the former Team Aqua and Magma merge into one group, which is also around the time their leaders start to acknowledge their feelings for each other. On paper, they got married for tax benefits and to make things easier for Kiran. In practice, they are totally in love. The two are retired now, but oversee their old teams nonetheless (and dote on their two grandchildren.)

Cyrus: He remains in the distortion world until his niece Dawn comes to find and convince him to give humanity another shot. He ends up moving in with his older sister Johanna and her family in Twinleaf and now lives a quiet and relatively happy life. He was somewhat surprised to find that the (in his mind) very irrational one-night-stand he indulged in with Jupiter towards the end of their plans resulted in a son. He has some regrets that Callisto grew up with a rough life, but is pleased that he seems to have become a well adjusted adult, even marrying the daughter of one of Cyrus’ other former commanders. Cyrus also is quite fond of their daughter – his granddaughter – Pina.

Ghetsis: When he threatens Rosa’s life at the end of the BW2 plotline, Rosa’s Hydreigon partner, Cassandra, mauls him to death. Nobody particularly mourns his passing, though Rosa ends up very shaken by being indirectly responsible for someone’s death, no matter how horrible a person they were.

Lysandre: He dies when his secret base collapses, leaving behind two unborn sons from different mothers.

Lusamine (Note, this AU follows the USUM plotline): Realizing that she was far from an ideal mother, Lusamine decides to let her children go their own way and no longer interfere in their lives. She dedicates her life to research, currently trying to find ways for Fallers to regain their memories, or to prevent the memory loss in the first place.

Guzma: With Team Skull no longer really being a thing and having helped save the world, Guzma finds both himself and those around him more willing to reach out and try to form bonds. A number of his old friends and rivals from his days as a trial goer get back in touch with him, including Kukui and Molayne. After hours spent hanging around the observatory, Guzma and Molayne eventually develop feelings for each other, especially after Molayne suddenly ends up the guardian of his niece and Guzma helps out immensely with taking care of Vriesea Currently, Guzma is ‘technically unemployed’ but really he just helps out people with any odd jobs they need, and of course he always supports his Best Niece Vriesea in her endeavors to form ‘Team Skull 2′.

Rhys, what’s your relationship with your fathers, mother and siblings looks like?

I’d like to say I get along pretty well with my family members. I consider myself an easygoing guy, so that probably helps. Out of my parents, I think I get along with Dad (Brendan) the best, but that’s mainly since we share the most hobbies. We both love spending time outdoors and learning about pokémon. The other reason is that Father, being a Gym Leader, and Mom, being a Frontier Brain, are both professional trainers, while I’m a coordinator, so sometimes it’s a bit harder to connect with them that way. Dad’s a professor, so we can just bond over loving pokémon. That’s not to say I don’t get along with Father and Mom though! Father had a brief stint as a coordinator back when he was around my age and was pretty good at it, so he often gives me advice on my upcoming contests. His perspective is pretty different from mine, so it’s always helpful to hear his opinion on things. Plus, I feel like it’s kind of impossible not to get along with Father. He’s just such a nice guy in general, haha. As for Mom, I guess sometimes she can feel a bit distant since we don’t have a lot in common, but I know she really cares about me and my siblings. Mom is definitely the one I go to when I need someone to help me through a difficult decision. She’s really good at laying out all the facts and helping me look at all possible approaches to a problem. Plus she’s really smart which is great for when I get stuck on homework!

As for my siblings, well, I wish I could say I got along with them all as well as I do my parents. Layla and I get along fine, but sometimes I feel like she tries too hard to be a perfect big sister, especially with our younger siblings. She was never too smothering with me, but she can be crazy overprotective of Eve and Edward. I keep trying to tell her that they can handle themselves, but as usual she doesn’t really listen to me. I think she thinks I’m a bit of an airhead or something. I wish she would come to my contests more, even though I get she’s busy with her Interpol work. Eve is a sweetheart and I would fight anyone who tries to hurt her, well, if I didn’t know she can handle anything herself just fine. I think people tend to see her as a delicate flower – pun intended – but she’s really pretty badass in her own right. Just ‘cause she doesn’t like conflict doesn’t mean she isn’t strong! I wish more people could figure that out. Also, compared to Mom’s empathy meaning she can always tell when something’s bothering me and be all fussy, Layla’s precognition meaning she’s always paranoid that something that may not even happen is going to kill us all, and Ed’s telekinesis meaning he breaks things with his mind every time he gets teenage hormonal (which is all the time), Eve’s plant-control powers are so much less of a bother, even though I know she could kill me with vines if she wanted to. But that’s the beautiful thing about Eve, she wouldn’t hurt a fly and makes pretty flowers to give me with her powers instead. I love you Eve. And as for Edward, well, I already gave my opinion on his powers (I don’t care that telekinesis is like, the most common esper power I will never forgive him for breaking my stereo when I didn’t let him watch an R-rated movie that one time). But really, I just want to be there for him. I know he’s going through his angsty teen phase or whatever, but he’s just so angry all the time it makes me kind of sad. I don’t know how to help him though, since he always gets mad at me when I try and talk to him. I hope he has someone else in the family, or a friend at least, who he can talk to…. I try my best to be a good big brother, but I’m not even living at home anymore so it’s kind of hard to be there for my little sister and brother. Well, as long as I’m trying my best, right!

Gingerbreadshipping!! :D (I <3 the ship name)

How they first met: They first met when Jasmine was on a trip to Kalos to visit a botany convention. At the time she was studying herbal medicine, so she was interested in learning more about plants there. She was quite overwhelmed by both the crowds and being in a foreign country. Cress was at the same convention to learn more about cooking ingredients (at this point he and his brothers were living in Kalos) and was also feeling a bit overwhelmed by the crowds, so when he saw Jasmine looking lost he suggested they team up so that the event was less intimidating for the both of them. They became quite good friends over that weekend and exchanged numbers when it was over and Jasmine had to return back to Johto.
Where their first date was: A few years after they first met, Jasmine came to further her study of medicine in Kalos for a few months, a decision in no small part influenced by her continued correspondence with Cress. The two, at this point, had had quite a bit of romantic tension in their messages and the last time they had met up when Cress visited Johto. However, this trip to Kalos by Jasmine was their first time going on a proper date. Chili and Cilan both made plans to be out of the apartment for the evening and Cress invited Jasmine over for a home cooked meal. It was very romantic and both had a really good time just talking to each other and enjoying some good food.
When they had their first kiss: They had their first kiss on the first date. Jasmine insisted on helping Cress clean up after the meal and as they did the dishes together, she realized how domestic the whole scene felt and just how right it felt as well. Without really thinking, she shuffled over to Cress and leaned against him, when he leaned back, she stood on her tiptoes and they kissed.
Who cooks: Cress, obviously, since he’s the professional chef of the couple. He likes to experiment with flavors and techniques and often tries out new recipes on his family, which can lead to hit-or-miss meals sometimes. For the most part though, all his new dishes are well-received and Jasmine and their kids are always excited to see what Cress can come up with.
Who proposed: Cress proposed to Jasmine! The two had been dating for a while and Cress had moved to Johto to live with Jasmine about a year earlier. He felt like his life and hers were in the place where marriage seemed right. He had found a job at a restaurant in Olivine and had plans to open up his own place eventually and Jasmine had started a herbal medicine clinic on the side of being Gym Leader. The proposal was nothing public or showy; Cress made an extra nice meal for him and his girlfriend, then brought out dessert, a small orange sponge cake (Jasmine’s favorite) with ‘Will you marry me?’ written in icing across the top. Jasmine was so touched that she didn’t even want to eat the cake at first and spoil the message. After a bit of happy tears they did end up eating the cake, and to this day eating orange sponge cake makes Jasmine extra happy.
The dominate one: Cress. In public, both he and Jasmine seem quite mild-mannered and quiet, though while that’s fairly close to Jasmine’s true personality, behind closed doors, Cress can be very dominant and bold. Probably thanks to his past as a member of the Shadow Triad, he’s not afraid to take control and Jasmine quite likes that side of her husband, even if admitting so makes her blush.
Their favorite pastime together: One of their favorite family activities for the weekend or holidays is going to the beach. It doesn’t matter what season it is, they’ll go at least once a month. Cress enjoys swimming when the weather permits, otherwise he likes to explore tidepools and the like. Jasmine isn’t as much of a swimmer, but she enjoys relaxing by the water with a good book or watching her husband and kids play in the water. She also likes to walk along the beach and find shells, sea glass, and other pretty things washed up by the waves. She keeps them all in glass jars around the house and sometimes will craft with them. An amusing incident (or incidents as it happened more than once) is the time Cress found a Clauncher in a tidepool, very lost and far from home. Cress wanted to cook it, since Clauncher is a delicacy while Jasmine was horrified he would even think of doing such a thing and insisted they take in to her clinic until they could find a way to get back to its natural habitat.
Who kissed who first: Jasmine kissed Cress!
Who is the flirt: Cress, though usually not in public. When in private, however, he loves to fluster Jasmine with flirty comments.
Who is the romantic: Both of them are about equally romantic, but in different ways. Cress’ idea of romance is usually food-related, while Jasmine prefers the type of thing found in her favorite romance-novels – rose petals everywhere, candles, hot tubs, etc.
Who wakes up first: Old habits die hard and Cress is still a very early riser since it was drilled into him during his Plasma days. All the same, he has to get up early for work anyway, so he doesn’t mind all that much. Jasmine prefers to sleep in a little bit, though still gets up pretty early. Of course, their kids did not all inherit that ‘morning person’ trait, so when the triplets are at home Jasmine and Cress try to keep quiet in the mornings so as not to disturb them until it’s time for their wakeup call.
Who comforts who the most: Jasmine is somewhat prone to anxiety, so Cress does his best to make sure she’s never too nervous about something and helps her calm down if she gets overwhelmed with nerves. However, Cress still has lasting issues from his old life in Team Plasma and before that, which can manifest in nightmares or panic attacks. Whenever he’s upset, Jasmine does her best to make sure he knows he’s safe and that she’s there for him, using the tips she learned specifically to make her husband feel most at ease and comfortable whenever his past comes back to haunt him. The two really do end up comforting each other quite often.
The cuddler: Somewhat related to the above answer, both Cress and Jasmine are quite the cuddlers. They enjoy physical contact with each other and it helps them feel calm. They’re not very publicly affectionate, but they will often hold hands or Jasmine will be on Cress’ arm when they’re out and about. At home, they are often found cuddling – Jasmine especially likes to sit in Cress’ lap so they can hold each other.
The big spoon: Cress is quite a bit taller than Jasmine, so he typically fills this role. Often, Jasmine will also sleep facing him, so that she can hold him as well.

2, 12, and 22 for Draco (for the ask meme thing?) ✨

2. Their emotional/moral weak spots

Draco’s biggest weak spot is that he isn’t as in control as he thinks he is. Draco likes to believe that he’s in full control of his emotions, dismissing any unwanted outbursts as aberrations. This leads to him not realizing how badly he can hurt others, because he thinks he’s being reasonable and normal for himself, while anyone else would see that he was acting emotionally and irrationally. Draco is actually very self-conscious, so he has a tendency to block out criticism in an effort to avoid taking a hit to his self-esteem. Essentially, he tries to cope with everything by retreating further inward to his own fantasy-perception of the world, which just amplifies the image of a callous, angry, jerk that many people see him as.

While he does hurt others’ feelings and breaks quite a few hearts, he still has a moral compass, of course, actually a quite strict one. Draco doesn’t tolerate injustice from others (which is quite ironic) and will go out of his way to stop a crime from happening if he sees it, not caring about what others might be doing to help. As a result, he can be quite reckless and put himself in danger. Draco has been more aware of these weak spots more recently, however, since he started therapy and has steps to avoid falling back into the same bad habits and destructive thought patterns as he used to.

12.  Grudges and vendettas

Draco can hold a mean grudge. His most significant one is against Ethan, his father. He resents Ethan for being a part of his life, yet never revealing his true relationship to his son, as if Draco couldn’t easily tell that Ethan was his father. He also has a tendency to concoct wild scenarios regarding Ethan’s relationship with Lance, most of them as full on scandalous soap opera as he can think up. He doesn’t like how, when Ethan found out that Draco knew their relationship, he tried to become a father figure to him. Part of this is that Draco is very close with Lance and sees Ethan as intruding on their father-son relationship, another part is that he hates that he was deceived, even if his parents thought it was for the best. Despite Ethan’s many efforts to try and make amends with Draco, he remains stubborn in being distant with his father.

Draco also holds somewhat of a grudge against his exes, for more of an irrational reason than his grudge against Ethan. A lot of the problems with Draco’s past relationships was a failure to communicate, mainly on his end. He would have been only interested in a casual, no-strings-attached, short term relationship, but would be oblivious to if his partner had more serious intentions. When Draco eventually decided to move on from the relationship, his partners were often upset that he didn’t share their feelings or communicate what he wanted from the relationship properly, and there were a lot of really bad fights and inevitable bad blood. While he can look back on his past relationships and see that he was at fault, Draco also holds somewhat of a grudge against his exes, especially the ones who now hate him. He sort of thinks that, since he’s been able to move past the breakup with minimal hard feelings, they should too. “Now that I’ve turned over a new leaf, can’t bygones be bygones?” This grudge is the main reason he doesn’t inform Cypress that he has a son, which later comes back to bite him in the ass.

22.

People who’ve influenced them greatly

Probably the most important person to Draco growing up was his father, Lance. As his only (to his knowledge) parent, Lance was the pillar of Draco’s world, his role-model, his inspiration, his protector. Draco’s sense of justice comes from Lance, as does his temper. The two are quite similar, in no small part due to their close relationship. Despite all his grudges and dislike for his home during his ‘Wild Years’, Draco never resents Lance. He understands why Lance is overprotective of him and indulges the man, even when he sends one of his Dragonite to check in on Draco when’s he travelling the world every once and a while. Draco knows he wouldn’t be the person he is without his father, and he will freely admit Lance is basically his hero.

The other major influence in Draco’s life was a briefer encounter. While he hated the lecture he got from Maia at the time, losing to her and hearing her opinion on his character was the first event that prompted him to reexamine his behavior and realize that he maybe needed to change his ways and/or get some help. It wasn’t immediate, but she put the thought in his head, which later helped him when he decided to return home and settle down. Draco later writes Maia a thank-you, and she actually flies out to Johto to see him in person and express how glad she is he’s doing better. Of course, she probably won’t ever be on friendly terms with Draco since he hurt her brother, but she respects him for making the effort to better himself, which is no small feat.

Who would you consider your ‘main fankid?’ If you were hard pressed to make one of them the protagonist of the overall story, who would it be?

This is a really hard one! I have kids who I consider the ‘man kids’ for each region, but a lot of the main kids in each region don’t interact a whole ton with each other, save for a few exceptions, so choosing just one to represent the whole bunch would be tough. Another big part of this is that, since Ash doesn’t exist in this world, there’s no one protagonist who’s kid would follow in his footsteps. But, if I had to choose just one, it would probably (at least at this point in time) be Draco. He is one of the few fankids who has definitely traveled to all the different regions and he has a lot of development along the way. He would be quite the antihero though, considering his…… charming personality, but I think he’d probably be the most interesting to follow as the protagonist, since he’d be the most likely to meet all the other kids. A second choice, and one a bit more heroic than Draco would probably be Amaryllis, since she’s Red’s daughter and is somewhat of a foil to Draco. Perhaps Rylla would be the protagonist and Draco would be the antagonist/anti-hero

¯_(ツ)_/¯ .

5, 8, 18, 27 for Sage?

5. Are they sexually confident or more of the shy type?
Sage acts like a suave, confident charmer but he actually gets very easily embarrassed when flirting. He’ll say some flirty and cheesy comment, but the moment a girl flirts back he turns into a blushing mess. He’s never dated either, so the whole charmer act is pretty much entirely for show. It’s very easy to tease him actually.

08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?

His biggest flaw is probably his overconfidence. He tends to think he and his friends and family are always right, and can be oblivious to criticism or his and their shortcomings. He’s not really aware of this, since by its very nature overconfidence creates a lot of blind spots. One of these days, Sage is going to be in for a rude awakening when he realizes that he and his loved ones aren’t flawless.

18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?

In theory, Sage’s dream house would be somewhere like Fortree in Hoenn. A treehouse surrounded by nature and flying types – perfect for a photographer like him. In practice, Sage wants to become the Viridian Gym Leader when his mother retires. He’d rather live in the city than in a small town like Pallet, though, so he’ll probably move to Viridian once he gets sick of living at his parents’ house.

27. If your character was going to get arrested, what would be the most likely reason for it?

Trespassing, probably. Sage tends to ignore outside factors like ‘laws’ when he wants to get a good shot. He’d most likely end up wandering onto someone’s private property tracking a rare pokémon and then try and talk his way out of it when he got caught rather than fess up, since he hates admitting his own wrongdoing that way.

Verbena with 7, 16, 20, 23, 30, 41?

Sure thing!

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?

Verbena whistles a lot without realizing it. She whistles when she’s working on a project, when she’s succeeded in something, when she spots something or someone she likes, she even has a little whistle/finger guns combo she does as a catchphrase à la Fantastic Mr. Fox. She knows she whistles a lot, she just doesn’t realize quite the extent of the habit.

16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?

You’d think an inventor/programmer like Verbena would be a couch potato, but she actually exercises quite a bit. She hates sitting down for too long and enjoys hitting the gym after a long day working bent over a computer screen. She knows some martial arts learned from Cilan, so she tends to put her favorite pump-up music and go at it with a punching bag for a few hours, or just hit the treadmill if she’s not feeling in the punching and kicking mood that day. She’s pretty in shape as a result, which many don’t realize thanks to her profession and habit of wearing baggy clothing.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?
Gonna sub in pokémon for animals here. Verbena likes electric and ghost types the best. Electric since she grew up surrounded by Clemont’s electric pokémon and learned how they can help out with all her mechanical needs. Ghost since she is a dark mage like Cilan and has an affinity for them, plus they can come in handy for her work as well, being able to go places she can’t and offering a different perspective. Verbena’s starter and closest pokémon is her Rotom, Widget, who is her go-to partner for all her programming needs. Widget usually lives in Verbena’s Holo Caster, but they’ll come out and cause mischief every once and a while.

23. What is your character like when it comes to school? What subjects are they good/bad at? Do they get in trouble a lot or are well behaved?
Verbena is one of those students who does very well in all her classes, but causes a lot of trouble outside of academics. She’s hacked the school network many times and put meme viruses on all the computers, played around with the security cameras, and blasted her favorite electronic music from all the loudspeakers. She got caught a few times at first and was sternly told off by both the Principal and her parents, but that just made her cover her tracks better the next times. A lot of her classmates love her for her pranks, but the teachers are all glad she’s in her last year of school.

30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?

Verbena likes electronic music, especially the headbanging kind. EDM, dubstep, house, etc. She prefers documentaries/non-fiction and sci-fi for movies and books and is subscribed to numerous science and engineering magazines covering a wide variety of topics. She’s not a huge theater person, unlike Cori, but she’ll go to all her baby brother’s shows when she can. Verbena is also an avid blogger, which is where a majority of her entertainment comes from. She’s a bit of a troll to be honest, and has fun getting into arguments with strangers on the internet and driving them crazy.

41. Does your character’s family affect your character in any way?
Definitely. Watching Clemont in his lab inspired Verbena to go into engineering herself and it was with his help that she built her first computer. Cilan was the one to teach her how to code (and to hack, which he later regretted after all the trouble she gets into) and the basics of martial arts. Basile definitely encouraged a lot of Verbena’s more dubiously legal pranks and helped her learn how to cover her tracks better. Cori is half of her motivation to do things she doesn’t want to do, like go see movies in genres she usually doesn’t like, or agree to open up a Maid Café themed Gym with her cousins, not to mention he tends to be the one to help her look more presentable when she goes out (’I refuse to let you leave the house in a sweatsuit!!!’)
