What causes to Conway and Holly to divorced ?

I am still figuring out the specifics of their relationship, but for now I can say that they just had an incompatibility as a couple. Despite the initial attraction, in the long run they just weren’t suited to living together or being in a long-term relationship, so after around a year of fighting, avoiding each other, and the like they decided divorce was the best bet. Conway got custody of their children, Maria and Ilya, as he had always been the more attentive parent of the two. Maria and her mother don’t get along at all, so she never meets up with Holly, but Ilya was closer with her so he stays at her place on weekends occasionally.

You might be wondering ‘what about their third kid that’s listed on the family page?’ Well, despite a domestic relationship not working out, Conway and Holly remain on decent enough terms to find that getting together once and while to ‘catch up’ still works just fine. Andrei was the result of one of these meetings, so he’s the surprise baby born after the divorce. He lives with his father like the rest of his siblings and like Ilya visits his mother perhaps once a month or every other month or so.

Hymnia?

10 Facts About Hymnia Montfort

  1. She was conceived during an extremely low period in Grimsley’s life where he had gotten involved with illegal gambling rings and criminals and was just barely toeing the line between his E4 job and his more dangerous hobbies, often falling into debt and in general in both a bad place mentally and in situation. During a particularly intense poker game with a criminal organization, Grimsley, with nothing left to bet, wagered his firstborn child. He lost. Hymnia was conceived to fulfill that bet (Grimsley was already kind of hooking up with Shauntal on the side so he had a mother in mind for his wagered baby, not to mention mages tend to be more valuable on the black market so he was hoping to pay off more of his debt than originally planned by giving the criminals a more valuable baby.) However, during the pregnancy, he realized that he’d made a horrible decision and sought help from his family. In the end, Champion Iris became involved and while the situation was sorted out and the offending parties apprehended, following Hymnia’s birth, Grimsley quietly retired from his E4 position and took a much needed vacation in Alola, leaving his daughter with his sister Diana.
  2. Hymnia’s parents were married when she was about three years old, and her younger brothers were born about a year later. She is generally nonchalant about her unconventional origins and gets annoyed when people question her family life based on gossip.
  3. She takes very strongly after her grandmother, Calliope, who was one of the first members of Unova’s Elite Four back when the region had first joined the Pokémon League. Her hair has a straighter texture like Shauntal’s however (aside from her ‘spikes’ that are on the side of her head).
  4. Her starter, like all members of the Montfort family, was a Deino given to her when she was very young by her father. She named her Deino Astor, which then later causes a bit of confusion when her first cousin once-removed is born a few years later and is named Aster. Hymnia doesn’t see the issue though, since the two names are spelled differently.
  5. Hymnia is very logical and extremely intelligent, skilled at problem solving and observations. However, she’s also not very good at socializing, being especially bad at holding a coherent conversation as she tends to just jump to the topics she finds most important rather than wait for the other person to try and catch up to her train of thought. Talking to her is often like listening to someone brainstorm out loud rather than having a conversation.
  6. Grimsley taught Hymnia some basic card games when she was young and now cards are one of her favorite hobbies. As a sort of … private detective/information specialist/PI type of person, she finds card games and gambling are a wonderful way to loosen tongues and make quick friends (or enemies, but that’s the thrill of games of chance after all). One of her preferred ways of gathering information from stubborn targets is by making a bet. She often wins since she’s observant enough to purposefully set the terms in her favor, even if the other person doesn’t realize this.
  7. Hymnia can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie, often taking the high-risk high-reward route rather than the safer but less promising one. She generally assumes that she’ll be able to think her way out of any trouble she gets into, but her overconfidence has landed her in sticky situations more than once. Luckily, she has her sidekick Penelope to help her out whenever things go south.
  8. Being the descendant of a more mischief-inclined sort of fae on her mother’s side, Hymnia’s magic has a strong focus on illusions and trickery, something she finds very useful in her work as it comes in handy for disguises, gathering information, and being stealthy when the need arises.
  9. She specializes in dark-type pokémon like her father. She considers dark-types to be the most ‘useful’ kind of pokémon, being both clever and sneaky (much like herself). Aside from Astor, I know she has an Absol, though the rest of her team is still under construction.
  10. One of her main rivals is Cicely, Cress’ daughter (raised by her other father) who is deeply involved with the Castelia mob. Having a teasing personality, Cicely often likes to provoke Hymnia then cover her tracks, usually infuriating the younger woman. At the same time, Hymnia loves the the thrill of the chase and finds her ‘games of cat and mouse’ with Cicely to be some of her most enjoyable cases. Penelope is just tired of all the shenanigans her friend and sort-of-boss gets up to and wishes they could go back to straightforward and more importantly safe jobs from now on, pretty please?

Tell me more about magical girl Luna >:3c

@sydchan asked me about Luna as well so this will cover both asks!

10 Facts About Luna Hiwada

  1. Her favorite color is orange and she will try to incorporate it into all of her outfits. She prefers more muted shades of orange, though she isn’t opposed to bright orange in moderation.
  2. Her favorite season is fall, mostly because of the food. Sweet potatoes are her favorite so getting to eat them freshly cooked during a cold fall day is a special treat.
  3. Due to being the descendant of a kodama (a tree spirit) her magical powers are mostly plant-based. Her ancestor was a spirit who inhabited the Ilex Forest, so she often goes there to find plants and herbs for her medicine and spells.
  4. She adores traditional fashion, which is how she first met Nerissa. Luna was attending one of Valerie’s fashion shows in Goldenrod when she happened to meet the designer’s daughter and the two hit it off right away, becoming penpals and later long-distance girlfriends.
  5.  Luna chose to move to Celadon to be with Nerissa rather than the other way around, mainly because she wanted to spread her herbal medicine to a wider audience than the fairly small Azalea that she grew up in. When she first arrives she’s very much the ‘confused country girl in the big city.’
  6. Due to an increase in hostile supernatural beings as a result of an as-yet-unnamed evil team (not Team Mythic) the patron deity of Celadon, Kiriniji, recruits Nerissa and Luna as her champions. This is just a fancy way of saying they’re magical girls.
  7. The powers given to her by Kiriniji mostly enhance Luna’s latent magic, giving her increased control over plants and living energy, along with a sweet transformation sequence and a cute foliage-based dress.
  8. Though her magic is plant-oriented, Luna is a bug-type specialist like her fathers, training butterfly and moth pokémon specifically. This is also incorporated into her magical girl outfit as well in the form of a large ribbon that resembles luna moth wings (Luna’s namesake in fact) and hair accessories that resemble antenna.
  9. Luna is closer with Bugsy than she is with Aaron, but that’s mainly due to her interest in the lore and traditions surrounding her home. Bugsy is able to pass on what he learned about the forest from his parents, while it’s a bit harder for Aaron to connect with his daughter on that level due to being a foreigner. All the same, they bond over different things, especially pokémon battling and training bug-types as Luna actually loves being a competitive trainer, something Bugsy was never as excited about despite being a Gym Leader. So essentially, she bonds with one of her dads over a shared love of studying nature and the other over a shared love of pokémon battles.
  10. While she’s living in Kanto right now and fighting evil, Luna’s ultimate dream is to take over the Azalea Gym from her father and show the world just how strong and lovely her moth and butterfly pokémon are.

Does Darach end up with anyone? Or help raise Caitlin’s kids?

[This content is out of date and no longer canon (Darach ends up with Burgh)]

Darach remains single. While he was disappointed that Caitlin fell for someone else before he had the chance to confess his feelings, ultimately her happiness is what’s most important to him and he still values their friendship even if she doesn’t return his feelings. He does help raise Nika! He would often babysit them due to Caitlin and Marlon both having very time consuming jobs and Nika sees him as an uncle, often respecting him more than their own parents. When Nika starts to get involved in dubious activity when they’re older (associating with sketchy types and generally distancing themselves from their family) Darach is one of the few people they still keep in regular contact with.

What cause to Morty and Jasmine to divorced ?

Morty and Jasmine were actually never married. Jasmine’s parents are very traditional and would not have approved of her relationship with Morty because he is a dark mage (which are considered bad luck in Johto.) At this time, Jasmine still cared about what her parents thought of her, so she and Morty kept their relationship a secret. When Jasmine became pregnant with Yuusuke, her parents inevitably found out and they were not pleased. In the end, mostly due to stress caused by pressure from Jasmine’s parents, the couple broke up before Yuusuke was born. From the start, it was agreed that Morty would have custody of their son since he would likely inherit the same magic as his father. Yuusuke would still visit his mother about once a month for a weekend growing up, however.

While Jasmine tried to convince herself that breaking up with Morty was for the best, this was the main catalyst for her falling out with her parents and trying to cut them out of her life. She decided that she would live her life by her rules and not just listen to her parents when their advice went against what she wanted. Her falling for and marrying Cress (himself both a foreigner and a dark mage) wouldn’t have been possible if she had not chosen to change her relationship with her parents due to them leading to her breaking up with Morty. So, in that sense, she is a bit thankful that she broke up with him since it did help her change her life for the better in the long run. The two remain good friends despite being exes.

Whose the dad of Caleb(Flannery Son) ?

Nobody important tbh. Flannery became pregnant after a one night stand/hook up and decided to be a single mother. She saw no need in contacting the other parent (even if she had their info, which she didn’t.) Caleb doesn’t really care he only has one parent either. Flannery is a caring mother and she’s all he needs.

How can same sex couples have biological children?

I think I made a post about this a while back but I’ll say it again since it’s been a while. Short answer – it’s a fantasy AU so I just kind of figured I could do what I want. Long answer – it’s a fantasy AU and humans evolved differently because something something magic. Basically, pretty much anybody can get pregnant or impregnate others regardless of gender. The details of how this works depends on what kind of level of ‘unconventional biology’ you are comfortable with, but I find the whole process a little bit squicky myself so you probably won’t be seeing any in depth pregnancy headcanons on here. Since reproduction is basically an ‘anything goes’ kind of deal, most people in this AU are bi since I feel like that would make the most sense. Gender roles (fashion, parenting, occupations, etc) also tend to be very flexible, even historically. There’s probably more I can go in depth with, but that’s the basics of it.

The actual answer is because I like designing fankids who have traits from both parents and wanted to be able to do that even for same sex couples, so I made up an explanation that fit into my already established worldbuilding for this AU.

How did Cypress found out that Draco has his child?

[This content is out of date and no longer canon]

This is a part of their story that I’m still developing, so I’m sorry that I can’t give a more detailed answer, but Cypress likely found out ‘through the grapevine’ so to speak. Most of the Champions of the regions keep in touch, so Iris and Lance know each other and trade news about their families as well as what is going on in their respective regions. Iris is aware of her son’s poor relationship with Draco, so she tries to avoid talking about him when Cypress is around, but accidents happen. It’s likely that Cypress overheard that Draco has a son and though he initially would react with disinterest (why would I care what he’s getting up to?) his curiosity would get the better of him and he would want to try and find information on his ex’s child.

Cypress finds a picture of Noel either through social media or a mutual acquaintance and can’t deny the similarities he shares with the child, not to mention that doing the math puts Noel’s conception right around when he and Draco were still in a relationship. While I know Cypress definitely reacts poorly to the revelation, the details are still not entirely worked out, so I can’t say what exactly he does. I do know that he and Draco are able to come to a resolution eventually, where they agree to give Noel the option of contacting Cypress when he’s old enough to understand the situation. Whether or not Noel decides to do this is still unknown, however, since his character right now pretty much amounts to ‘Draco’s drama baby’, haha!

MindfulShipping?

How they first met: Mira had decided to travel to Hoenn for her pokémon journey after travelling through Sinnoh initially. She lost her first Gym Battle against Tate and Liza and, feeling a little sorry for herself, decided to explore a bit and train for her rematch. Being Mira, she ended up getting lost almost immediately once she strayed from the path. She asked her Alakazam to send out a psychic distress beacon which Tate picked up on, heading out to rescue her. While Mira was embarrassed at first about being rescued by the Gym Leader she had just lost against, her embarrassment quickly became admiration and quite a bit of a crush at Tate’s bravery in rescuing her and how kind he was about helping her out, even offering some tips to help her for her rematch.
Where their first date was: Remembering the sweet and clever Gym Leader who had helped her out when she got lost, after beating the Hoenn League Mira headed back to Mossdeep and begged the twins to take her on as an apprentice. She was a skilled trainer, so they let her have a job as a Gym Trainer, despite her obvious crush. Well, obvious to Liza, Tate was oblivious. Eventually, after about three years of working at the Mossdeep Gym, Liza got tired of Mira making heart-eyes at her oblivious brother, so she clued Tate in to the situation. He felt so bad for not noticing his friend’s crush he asked her out the very next day (both to apologize for being dense and to figure out his own feelings for her). They visited a local botanical gardens and had a great time, deciding at the end to date officially.
When they had their first kiss: They actually kiss on their first date. While wandering in one of the greenhouses at the gardens they were visiting, Mira decided to directly ask Tate if he had feelings for her or not, since he had rushed into asking her out. When Tate admits that over the course of their date he has found himself more and more attracted to her, Mira squeals and then drags him behind a tree and goes in for a kiss. Tate is a surprised at her forwardness, but reciprocates (and is surprised when Mira admits that was her first kiss since she was so enthusiastic.)
Who cooks: Mira is not a very good cook, so Tate usually ends up cooking for their family. Liza and her family are often over as well and she and Tate love to cook together.
Who proposed: Tate. Despite Mira being the more enthusiastic of the couple, she’s also not very good at moving the relationship forward, so after a few years of dating, Tate decides to propose.
The dominant one: Mira, but only since she’s so enthusiastic and eager. Tate is certainly not passive, but Mira is more likely to initiate anything.
Their favorite pastime together: Despite her horrible sense of direction, Mira loves hiking and exploring nature, so she and Tate often like to use their free time to go on hikes, with Tate navigating. Otherwise, they went on a lot of museum (and similar locations) dates before getting married, and continue to enjoy doing so while married, often bringing the twins along for a weekend outing.
Who kissed who first: Mira kissed Tate.
Who is the flirt: Mira is quite the aggressive flirt, though Tate has his moments once they’ve been together for a while.
Who is the romantic: While Mira is the more eager of the two, Tate tends to be more thoughtful and is often the one to plan dates and the like. He likes routines, so he and Mira have regular ‘date nights’, ‘couple’s nights’ and ‘movie nights’ that he enjoys planning.
Who wakes up first: Tate.
Who comforts who the most: Mira can be prone to getting worked up over a small inconvenience or irritation and need to be calmed down with help from her husband, while Tate tends to be a worrier and often needs his wife to remind him to take a deep breath and stop overthinking things too much. So really, it’s a tossup.
The cuddler: Mira.
The big spoon: Tate.
