(Sorry, I’m gonna rarepair you wth your side ships) How about ChampagneShipping for F, H, I, L, R?

F. Who does the household chores and who is the handyman who fixes things around the house?
Lucian does most of the cleaning related chores since Dahlia is… messy, while he’s a total neat freak. Lucian will go full on apron and duster mode about once a month and deep clean their house. After he’s done he likes to just stand in the clean room and nod happily to himself. Dahlia, however, is the one who is good at fixing stuff. Lucian always tries to find some kind of step-by-step guide, while his wife manages to fix it within the time he’s still reading the instructions. Dahlia’s uncle is a mechanic, which is where she learned all her skills. She sometimes likes to pose like Rosie the Riveter after fixing the sink or something and her husband finds it adorable (the kids are a bit embarrassed).

H. Where do they like to go on vacation? For how long?

The two of them have pretty much yearly bookings to a couple’s spa retreat in Alola. Dahlia loves the beach and tropical atmosphere and just getting away from the frigid Sinnoh winters. Lucian likes to relax and unwind and get massages and facials. He’ll often be sitting under the beach umbrella while his wife searches for seashells and tries to get him to come swimming with her. The retreat is a week long and they go almost every winter when the weather’s the grimmest.

I. Who do they have babysit their kids?

Flint and Volkner are the popular choice. While he doesn’t have any of his own, Flint is great with kids (and Volkner keeps them alive so that’s all that matters) and he and his husband are happy to be the ‘League Babysitters’, meaning they’re the go-to whenever Lucian and Dahlia’s kids (as well as Emery and Tanith) need to be looked after. Natalia, Kyra, and Alan all refer to Flint and Volkner as their uncles and are pretty close with them.

L. Where do they live (house, apartment, condo, etc) and how do they make it theirs?

Their family have a house in Sunnyshore, which is also where Dawn’s family and Paul’s family live. It’s a pretty good size, since the Elite Four and Frontier Brains pay well, not to mention they’re a pretty sizable family at 5. Lucian is big into modern design, so there are a lot of clean edges and minimalist decorating. Dahlia on the other hand, loves big, bright, and loud decorations, so the house ends up following the ‘neutrals with a pop of color’ theme. Lucian likes to keep things pristine and clean, but there is still plenty of evidence of the house being lived in, like Natalia’s scattered coffee mugs, Kyra’s art projects from school, and Alan’s sewing equipment and projects. The house always smells faintly of flowers, thanks to Lucian’s Febreeze and Dahlia’s scented candles.

R. Who waits up (or, at least, tries to) for the other when they’re working late/getting back from a long trip?
They both try to wait up for the other if one of them is away or working late, and are both successful, but with different methods. Dahlia will stay up by exercising or cooking some treat for her husband to enjoy when he returns, while Lucian will keep a light on and stay in the living room reading while he waits for his wife to come home. They both drink tons of coffee to stay awake as well. They’re definitely a coffee family, both the parents and the kids (though Alan doesn’t like it much).

For my boy Draco: 3, 11, 19, 31, 39, 50?

Sure thing!

03. What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves?

Draco is really fond of his hair. He carefully styles it every morning and probably uses too much hair gel, but he thinks he looks cool so that’s all that matters.

11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?
The better question is what wouldn’t. Draco has anger issues. He’ll get mad if he thinks you’re insulting him, which is often. He’ll get mad at slight inconveniences like someone being late or his morning coffee being too hot. He’ll really get angry, however, when his father is brought up or when he loses or is shown up. Draco is very prideful, so when his pride is injured he’ll really fly into a rage. Honestly, though, his natural resting state is ‘disgruntled’ so it’s probably easier to count the times when he’s actually happy then those where he’s not angry about something.

19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?
Due to the fact he’s always angry and is generally an asshole, yes Draco often gets into fights, both physical and verbal. He prefers not to fight physically though, and if it comes to that he’ll usually suggest a Pokémon battle instead. He loves arguing with people, however, and will occasionally purposefully push people’s buttons just so they can yell at each other. He hates backing down or losing a fight, so he’ll draw things out as long as he can just so he can win or gain the upper hand. It’s honestly quite tiring for the other person most of the time.

31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?
For all his anger issues, Draco would probably not be able to kill someone in cold blood. In self-defense, certainly, but he tends to back down if whoever he’s conflicting with is seriously injured, or is in serious danger. He’s saved the lives of people he hates before, because while he’s confrontational and difficult to get along with, he takes death very seriously. He’s experienced loss and knows first-hand how difficult losing someone is, and he would never inflict that on someone. If he has a quarrel with someone, it’s with them alone: he’s never going to get their family and friends involved. In fact, Draco despises people who kill without reason more than any others. If he ever killed someone not in self-defense, it would be a murderer who themselves have no qualms about killing.

39. When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?

From his gelled hair, to his dark clothing, to his capes, to the smug little smile on his face, everything about Draco’s looks scream ‘smug asshole’ and that is 100% accurate. Draco is perfectly fine with people judging him on his looks because hopefully it means they’ll either leave him alone or pick a fight with him. However, he also tends to attract a lot of fans for his dark and mysterious vibes, and he has no idea what to do about that. Sometimes he’ll date one of his fans for a bit as he tends to do, but the day he found out about the fan blog dedicated to ‘how hot and dreamy he was’ was a very confusing one for him.

50. If your character confessed love to their crush, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc, what would they say?
Getting Draco to confess his love would be like pulling teeth. He would never confess first. Even in his ‘dating around’ period, he never really confessed love to any of his partners. When he finally settled down with Addie, his confession was more of a response than anything. Addie confessed her love and Draco replied, after a bit of time to think about it, that he loved her as well. It was very low-key, which is his style. Draco is not a very affectionate person, so he’s not the type to make flowery proclamations of his undying love. He rarely says ‘I love you’ to his wife, but Addie knows he cares about her through his actions rather than his words.

Draco with 22, 27, 31, and B?

Sure thing! Thanks for the ask!

22. How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)?

Draco has a tendency to become very withdrawn and cold when he’s jealous. He’ll act passive aggressive and distant towards someone when he’s jealous of them, particularly when he’s jealous of a relationship they have. He has a bad habit of not getting along with people who don’t share his views, but then because he just gets really distant when he’s bothered by someone or jealous of them and expects them to figure out what the problem is, people just leave him alone since they don’t want to deal with all that. And then he gets pouty because everyone’s ignoring him. He’s rather emotionally immature that way, which is something he grows out of somewhat as he heads into his late teens and twenties, especially after returning home and settling down with Addie.

27. What causes them to feel dread?

Draco is extremely protective of his friends and family. Any of them being in danger is essentially his worst nightmare. The death of his sister and his father’s subsequent injuries when he was very young instilled a premature sense of mortality in him. Draco is terrified of his loved ones getting hurt to the point of paranoia. Even when his relationship with Lance is strained, Draco still regularly makes sure his father is in good health. I would say his greatest fear is knowing a loved one is in danger, but being unable to help them. This scenario already happened to him once and the thought of it happening again definitely instills dread in him.

31. Who are they the most glad to have met?

I suppose the ‘expected’ answer here would be his wife, Addie, but I think Draco is actually most thankful to have met Maia. Maia is such a no-nonsense and direct kind of woman, that she was exactly the kind of person Draco needed to meet to snap him out of a lot of the bad mindsets and habits he fell into in his teenage years. Maia was essentially the person Draco *thought* he was, and she was able to help get him started back on the right track with a bit of tough love. To this day, Draco is extremely grateful for all the help Maia gave him and considers her one of his closest friends and mentors.

B) What inspired you to create them?
Gosh. Draco is definitely one of my older fankids, and I originally created him just to flesh out Johto a bit, have some more Honshuese dragonblood characters, some older fankids for Renato to interact with, etc. He was never really fleshed out that much until I decided to go fully aboard the Langst Train and introduced Noelle and her death. (Yes, Noelle was created to be killed off, I’m sorry sweetie, at least you get to be a cool ghost kid.) From there I was able to solidify his character better. Draco went from ‘bro goofball who is at odds with Adelinda because she dislikes his attitude’ to ‘closed off and damaged young man with a superiority complex, father issues, and a host of deep-rooted problems whose character arc involves discovering his own faults and overcoming past trauma on a journey of self-discovery before returning to his roots to settle down happily with his childhood friend.’ Which is a lot more interesting in my opinion, at least.

Tell me about what happens with my boy, Ethan! Or my actual best boy, Hilbert (or really just whichever male protag you feel like talking about more, I ain’t picky)?

Or I could do both!
The female protagonists are canon in my universe, so Ethan and Hilbert are closer to minor characters this time around.

Ethan is Lyra’s childhood friend and grew up in New Bark with her. His father works for the Elm Laboratory as a researcher, but Ethan’s always been more interested in following his grandparents’ work at the day care. He wasn’t super involved in the whole Team Rocket plot, though he did help take down a few grunts in Goldenrod during the radio takeover. He doesn’t really see himself as much of a trainer, preferring to raise and take care of pokémon rather than battle with them. He eventually starts working full time at the day care and visiting Goldenrod frequently, which is how he and Whitney started dating. The two eventually got married, but had difficulty conceiving a child, so they decided to adopt Carmen. She’s their only child, but the two of them have plenty of work on their hands running the Day Care together as Ethan took it over from his grandparents. Whitney ends up retiring from her Gym Leader job as well to work full time at the Day Care, which she enjoys more than running a Gym if she’s honest. Ethan is still best friends with Lyra and gets along pretty well with Silvio as well. Renato and Celeste consider him an uncle figure.

Hibert is Hilda’s younger twin brother in this universe. When Hilda went on her Gym Challenge journey, Hilbert decided to pursue a career in the acting industry instead, as a talent scout. He got an internship at a talent agency in Nimbasa and still works there full time today. In fact, he later helps his cousin Rosa kick start her own acting career. After all the Legendary Pokémon return to their human forms, Hilbert ends up hosting Albin (one of the Twin Heroes of Unovan Legend) at his apartment in Nimbasa until he could find a job and place to live. He’s worked with all sorts of people before and has great interpersonal skills, hence why he volunteered to host Albin. What he didn’t expect was the two of them to end up falling in love during this time. In the end, the two of them just clicked personality wise and found they had a lot of shared interests. Albin never did move out as he had started dating Hilbert, but he does find work at a local library, eventually getting a full time job as an archivist and historian, which he loves. Hilbert still lives in Nimbasa with his husband and their twins, Eban and Avoria. He’s close with his family, both Hilda and her husband and kids and his cousins Rosa and Nate and their families. Hilbert’s kind of the node of their network, the one who’s house everyone ends up at and who organizes a lot of family get togethers. He’s a very social guy so loves networking with everyone.

You have so many kids, I don’t know who to choose! So let’s do same name buddies? How about Kyra with 4, 8, 23, 24, 27, 45, and 49?

Sure thing! (Fair warning, Kyra is one of my ‘minor fankids’ meaning she would fall under the ‘npc with one or two lines’ category in a pokémon game. That doesn’t mean she’s not an interesting person though! I just don’t know a whole ton about her haha.)

4. What do they look like?
Kyra takes after her mother, Dahlia, in coloring, with black hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin, but her features and wavy hair are closer to her father, Lucian. She’s of average height and on the skinnier side. She is near sighted, but wears contacts unlike her father and brother, who wear glasses.

8. What’s their sense of style/fashion?
Kyra prefers very professional, preppy clothing. She likes blazers, button-down shirts, pencil skirts, dressy flats and low heels especially. She typically wears her hair in a low bun to keep it out of her face rather than try anything fancy with it. She typically wears light makeup – concealer, mascara, and lip tint.

23. Which traits they share with their parent(s)?
Kyra is very similar in personality to her father. Both are bookworms, both have an interest in the human mind (philosophy and the science of espers for Lucian, psychology for Kyra), both are espers (tekinetics, specifically, which is the most common esper ability), and both have similar fashion sense. Kyra does share some traits with her mother, however, aside from looks. She loves music, especially fast paced music and while she doesn’t dance, she does tap her feet to the beat. She also loves games of chance, a huge guilty pleasure she also shares with Dahlia, and can often be found in the Veilstone Game Corner when not at working on her Masters Degree at Veilstone University.

24. How do they get along with their parent(s)?
Kyra gets along quite well with both her parents – perhaps a bit more with her father due to their similar personalities. She and Lucian also have a lot of shared interests that they will talk for hours about. Most of Kyra and Dahlia’s interactions involve Dahlia taking her second daughter out on the town for shopping trips, dinner out, maybe a movie. Kyra really appreciates this since she doesn’t really get out much on her own and enjoys the time spent bonding with her mother. In this case, their differences make their relationship work out well since they can introduce each other to new things.

27. Are they closer with one parent over the other?
Already kind of answered this above, but Kyra is definitely closer to Lucian.

45. What are they like at parties?
Kyra is definitely not a party person. She’d be the type to find a quieter room or corner and spend the party talking with a few people and nursing one drink for the whole night. She’s not one for dancing or mingling and dislikes getting drunk, not to mention the noise would bother her as she wouldn’t be able to hear the conversation she’s trying to have. In the end, she would probably try to simulate a small gathering by hanging out with a small group in a quite area rather than attend the actual main party.

49. Are they superstitious?
Kyra claims not to be superstitious as it’s unscientific and merely the human mind trying to find control over random chance in life etc etc, but she totally has a few little rituals she swears by, especially when it comes to the slot machines. Overall though, she’s definitely not a superstitious person aside from a few small habits.

Do you have any fankid pairs who dated for a while, but then eventually broke up?

Mindy and Vivian were dating forever before they had an explosive break up when they were in their early 20s. Those two are never ones to do anything less than with full drama so their final fights and break up were just, there was a lot of arguing and things broken and Vivian slapped Mindy in the face. It was kind of amazing. I think the two of them just both had too similar personalities for it to work. It’s really surprising the relationship lasted as long as it did.

On the more amicable side of things, Caleb dated Opal for a good while until Opal realized she preferred being friends and wasn’t really interested in romance at all. Caleb was totally fine with returning to a platonic relationship; the two of them had been good friends before they tried out dating, so it was fairly easy to go back to being friends and not lovers.

Levi for 4, 10, 22, 25, 43?

4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?

May was the strict parent, Lisia was the lenient one. Levi figured out pretty early on that while his best little pout and kicked-puppy look would get Lisia to ease up on the punishment, that trick didn’t work on May at all. Eventually, however, Lisia caught on as well and started to be a bit stricter with her son when he tried to get out of trouble by acting cute. Now Uncle Wallace and Uncle Steven, on the other hand, despite being fathers themselves, were totally lenient with their grandnephews any time they babysat them – letting them eat tons of junk food, stay up late, watch R-rated movies, the works. They were totally trying to play up the ‘cool uncle’ angle.

10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

Levi is very emotionally intelligent, so to speak. He’s good at reading people and figuring out the best ways to cheer them up or approach them. He’s the type of friend who everyone goes to for relationship advice or if they’re feeling down. He has a real way with people and easily makes close friends. He’s also a very good gift giver. In terms of book-smarts, he has a bit more trouble, but he can always count on Solomon to help him with his math homework in exchange for some sweets or something.

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Levi has a whole ton of friends, but his closest ones are probably Caleb (Flannery’s son), Nora (Winona’s daughter), Apollon (Wallace and Steven’s son), and Eve (Brendan’s daughter). He’s been dating Rhys (Wally and Anabel’s son) for about a year now and the two get along really well. Levi and Rhys had been close friends from a pretty young age and their relationship evolved from good friends to lovers fairly naturally. It helps the Rhys is also totally Levi’s type and he finds his boyfriend super hot.

25. What are their hobbies and interests?

Levi’s always loved performing, which led to his current work as a contest idol. He loves singing and dancing and showing off his wonderful pokémon as it brings joy to both him and the audience. He really loves anything that makes others happy, pretty much. He also has an interest in modelling and has done a few shoots organized with help from Uncle Wallace. A less public hobby of his is actually spiritualism and crystals. He first got into crystals from Apollon, who makes jewelry, and then later found an interest in the spiritual side of them, which led into an interest in astrology and tarot reading and the like. Solomon thinks he’s ridiculous for ‘buying into it all’ but Levi loves checking his horoscope and getting in touch with his magic through stones and mindfulness.

43. Does your character have any secrets? If so, are they holding them back?

Levi doesn’t have any huge life-changing secrets, but he does have a bad habit of hiding his insecurities. He feels like he needs to be the emotional pillar for his friends and family and doesn’t like to admit how tiresome it can be for him between his idol work and keeping up his social life. Rhys and Solomon are two of the only people he feels comfortable confiding in. He feels like he can’t tell his parents because they both have high-energy public jobs as well (as a Frontier Brain and Gym Leader) and because he doesn’t want to admit doing what he loves can be too much work sometimes. Keeping his stress a secret is going to come back to bite him soon since barely anyone knows how much he’s struggling.
