I made a list of all 254 of my fankids so I can pick one at random every day to draw/sketch for a Fankidtober challenge! For Day 1, the RNG gave me Brant, one of my Pkmn Ranger fankids! He’s Ben’s son (if it wasn’t obvious) and the stepson of Red Eyes (who nowadays goes by Rory since no need for codenames anymore). Like his father, Brant is a travelling Ranger who doesn’t have a particular home base, instead going wherever he’s needed to all the different Ranger Union regions on the back of his partner, Talonflame. He’s got this whole complicated backstory that’s too long to go into for a quick post like this, so all I’ll say is that Brant was born in the Distortion World, which has resulted in him having some psychic powers he’s still figuring out. While he’s probably a young rookie-ish Ranger in this pic, he’s actually in his 20s during the main plot and is one of the older fankids of the whole bunch, haha.
